2023: A’Ibom Federal Lawmaker Flies Delegates To Abuja For A Weekend Treat

One of the federal Lawmakers in Akwa Ibom State (name withheld) seeking the position of the governor in the state has allegedly flew some of the PDP delegates to Abuja for weekend treat against 2023, Newsline9ja reports.

One of our secret reporters says, the aim of flying the selected delegates across Akwa Ibom State on the all expenses paid trip to Abuja by the Lawmaker is to lure the delegates with some juicy offers to vote for him in 2023.

Newsline9ja also gathered that, they delegates who cut across Esit Eket, Eket and other local governments had a good time in Abuja with the Lawmaker alongside their local government coordinators who are described as party chieftains in their various local government areas, Akwa Ibom state.

On their return back to Akwa Ibom State, Newsline9ja gathered that, the Lawmaker gave them Five Hundred and fifty dollars ($550) which is the equivalent of Two Hundred Thousand (200k) naira, each.
Also, the grapevine sources have it that, some of the 2023 governorship aspirants in the state have started administering all kinds of juju/oath on the delegates before they obtain favour from them so that they will not disappoint them and vote for another candidate in 2023. But however the case, it’s left for the delegates to choose what they want either to take the oath before they are given money or not because it already appears some delegates in the state are desperate.
