AFIGH IWAAD EKID PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT ON GOVERNOR UDOM EMMANUEL

Today, the leading socio-political group in Ekid Nation, one of the outstanding tribes with rich culture in Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria led by its International President, Obongiwaad Godwin Williams paid a condolence visit on the executive governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel over the demise of his father, late Mr. Gabriel Emmanuel Nkanang on the 12th day of February, 2020.

The condolence visit coincided with that of the Ekid Peoples’ Union, another leading socio-political group that holds Ekid people including that of Eket, Esit Eket, Onna and Ibeno local governments area together in Akwa Ibom State led by its International President, Dr. Samuel Udonsak also to condole with the governor and his family over the demise of his father.

It could be recalled that, the sad event of Elder Gabriel Emmanuel’s death occurred on Sunday, December 1st 2019. He was aged Ninety (90years.)

Funeral arrangements are ontop gear as different organizations, political groups, socio-political groups, government officials, governor colleagues, corporate organisations, friends and sympathizers have been on condolence visits on the governor and his family since last week and it is still ongoing.

The remains of late Elder Gabriel Emmanuel Nkanang would be laid to rest at his country home at Awa-Iman, Onna local government area, Akwa Ibom State on Saturday 15th February, 2020.
