Lagos State based Cleric and Founder of ‘Christ the Light of the World Church’, Prophet Emmanuel Ayodele, has claimed that he has seen a divine revelation about who will become the next Governor of Akwa Ibom State after Udom Emmanuel’s tenure in 2023.
Speaking to Newsmen in Ikoyi, Lagos State on Sunday, shortly after his denomination’s annual convention, the renowned Man of God stated emphatically that the current Senator, Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District, “Obong Bassey Albert (OBA), will win the 2023 governorship election in Akwa Ibom with or without the support the incumbent Governor.”
He hinted that, “the 2023 election would be tougher than that of 2019 and the PDP risks losing the governorship to an opposition party if it fails to nominate Senator Bassey Albert for the position.”
The cleric said he saw storms that period, but was quick to add that the State would still survive the period.
It would be recalled that Prophet Ayodele predicted the advent of Boko Haram rebellion almost a year before it took place. In 2019, he predicted the result of the Presidential election and the gubernatorial elections in Rivers, Delta and Akwa Ibom States and they came out true as predicted. Now, he has sent words to Senator Bassey Albert and related the massage of victory which he said was a revelation from God to him.
He stated that among all the governorship aspirants in the State, God revealed to him that Bassey Albert is the only one with the gift to serve Akwa Ibom people.
“He (Senator Albert) is God’s anointed for the governorship. His governor might think of changing words of his mouth now, forgetting that as a leader, his word is authority and Heavens had since recorded the covenant with the Senator…God cannot be mocked,” he said.
Continuing, the powerful Man of God advised: “Let Akwa Ibom people and the state chapter of the PDP take heed and not be mistaken in nominating Bassey Albert as the governorship flag bearer of the party. God has chosen him to serve the State.”
The Cleric also described the high level of corrupt leadership in the sitting government system, noting that unless the leadership stops patronizing gossips and blackmailers, bad eggs and sycophants flushed out, the government will not continue and if it does at all cost, “then the leadership should expect more failure.”
Stressing that good governance is a function of godly leadership, the Cleric called on the leadership of the State to imbibe the culture of tolerating those who are bold to tell him the system truth and also focus on the issue of welfare.
