BREAKING: A’Ibom Bloggers/Media Influencers accuse Information Commissioner, Chief Press Secretary Of Negligence.

…vow to launch Media attack on goverment should they refuse to attend to their demands.

Akwa Ibom State online Media community that made up of bloggers and media Influencers have accused the State’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comr. Ini Ememobong and the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Udom Emmanuel, Mr. Ekerette Udoh, of negligence as well as sabotaging their effort to get the governor to attend to them.

This came barely two days after news broke out that millions of naira meant to be shared to journalists was stolen in the Chief Press Secretary office in the Goverment House, Uyo.

The online pushers who lamented that, they have toiled and moiled day and night for the Governor right from his first term without any reward by the Governor directly or through any of his aides, deserve fair treament by the government.

They also revealed to this reporter that, all of them are graduates and with different kinds of skills as well as professional certifications as such, the government through Governor Udom Emmanuel whom they have supported with their last strength and penny for years should look into their plights and reward them accordingly.

Meanwhile, the Bloggers/Online Influencers who are all members of the State ruling party, and chose to remain anonymous for fear of victimization, also accused the Governor’s aides/commissioners of paying some opposition elements in the state saying, instead of paying them who have stood and supported the Governor for years, they decided to pay those who have never seen anything good in the government of Governor Udom Emmanuel rather than attacking everyday which after collecting same money from their pay masters, will still turn to attack the Governor.

In light of the foregoing, members of the online media community in Akwa Ibom have vowed that, since members of governor Udom’s goverment have taken them on a ride, they won’t keep quiet anymore nor die in silence to allow others who have not sacrificed for the government of the day as much as them to benefit and that, if they are not attended to, the agitation might take another dimension and it will be a no retreat, no surrender movement.
