Crisis In Mkpat Enin As Youths Protest Against Non Inclusion In Utapate-OML
The aggrieved community youths of Mkpa Enin local government area, one of the oil producing areas in Akwa Ibom state staged a peaceful protest on the street against non inclusion of their local government as one of the study communities in the EIA (Draft Report) for Utapate-OML.
Newsline9ja reporter learnt that, the aggrieved youths with different inscriptions on placards expressed their anger over a non inclusion of their local government area who they described as one of the major local governments in the state.
The youths, who blocked the major junction in Mkpat Enin local government area that links to Akwa Ibom State University, vowed never to stop protesting until their demands are met.
