DSG Celebrates Ben Udobia at 70

Democratic Solidarity Group, DSG, a frontline political group in Nigeria has rejoiced with a political colossus, entrepreneur, and elder statesman, Benjamin Udobia, as he turns 70 years old.

In a statement signed by the Director General of DSG, Ubong David, the group was quoted as giving thanks to God for the gift of long life and healthy living bestowed on the Political Leader of Esit Eket local government area and former Deputy Director General of Divine Mandate Campaign Organization.

The group noted that Udobia has continued to command respect and admiration of Akwa Ibom people from all walks of life, devoid of political and religious sentiments.

“Elder Benjamin Udobia is not only a worthy son of Ekid Nation, Akwa Ibom State but Nigeria at large. He had lived a very impactful life and exemplifies the true definition of an Ekid spirit of accommodation, entreprise, and hospitality. His exemplary life is worthy of emulation by all”.

DSG urged the septuagenarian to continue to work for the unity, progress, and development of Ekid Nation and Akwa Ibom State respectively, praying to God to give him long life and strengthen him more to serve as a beacon of hope for the next generation.

As he clocks 70, we urge him to continue to show leadership and direction towards a progressive Ekid Nation and Akwa Ibom in general.

We pray that God should continue to imbue him with knowledge, wisdom, and strength to discharge his responsibility unhindered, as he remains a ray of hope for the younger generation.

Comrade Unwana Assam,
Director of Public Communication, DSG.
