WE’RE 100 DAYS IN OFFICE TODAY
Today, our administration is exactly 100 days in office. It is usually a significant period to roll out the drums by governments, especially in this part of the world but I have decided not to.
My dear friends like you know, all over the world the Coronavirus pandemic has made economies to be at a standstill and for us here it is the same thing. It has slowed down our plans for development.
So rather than celebrate 100 days, my team and I will be looking forward to our first one year in office. Hopefully, the pandemic would have given way.
However, we have used the period of the last 100 days to design our policy framework to aid the direction we are heading. We have also used the period to address some key issues.
Nevertheless, as we battle the pandemic, we have decided that we must move on. So in no distant time, we will unveil a number of our urban renewal projects, particularly in Yenagoa, the state capital.
All we need is the continuous support and prayers of everyone. Always feel free to share your ideas with us on some areas that you think deserve urgent attention. Don’t forget you all are part of the government.
God bless you all!
