Special Assistant On Media to governor Udom Emmanuel, Rev. Richard Peters has sensitized members of the community in Ibiono Ibom LGA, Akwa Ibom on the need to always use their facemasks or the goverment will be forced to enforce lockdown, Newsline9ja reports.
The SA made the sacrifice to sensitize his people today 23rd January, 2021, and urged People in the state to strictly adhere to Covid-19 health measures as enforced by the government taskforce team on Covid-19.
Facemask or lockdown?
No situation is without a means of remedy. What has a beginning always has an end no matter how tough. This too shall pass away.
We’ve seen tougher times than this yet, we’ve prevailed by God’s infinite mercy. Moreso, we have a Governor whose capacity to lead has never been in doubt. God who was with him during the Covid-19 outbreak will guide him again this time to stem the tide of the present odds.
If we carry out our duties as responsible citizens properly, we’ll be part of the campaign for a better society from our little corners.
There’s hope that it will get better!
All you need to do is to observe all Covid19 safety protocols which are;
•Properly wear the facemasks.
•Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
•Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
•Practice good respiratory hygiene; cough/sneeze into your bent elbow.
▪︎Avoid close contact (within 6 feets for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with people who are visibly sick and practice physical distancing with coworkers and members of the public.
•Stay home if sick.
•Recognize personal risk factors. People with underlying conditions such as heart or lung disease, chronic kidney disease requiring dialysis, liver disease, diabetes, immune deficiencies, or obesity are at higher risk of developing more serious complications from COVID-19.
In all, precaution and prevention is the sure way to go.
Only those who stay safe will live to tell the story of the victory!
Stay safe, I love you
