Senator Bokula Saraki, the former senate President of Nigeria has reaffirmed his position to contest the presidential election come 2023.
Saraki confirmed this when he met with some concerned youths on 30th January, 2020 in Kwara, his home state.
He said; “As a matter of fact, I am so certain of 2023 that, I must contest and win the presidential election and nothing will stop me. There are so many things to be restructured in our dear country and it is only a leader with foresight and wisdom can do that.
“The security situation of our country is getting messy everyday and unfortunately, the leadership of Nigeria government has not done anything to end it. Killings in every section of the country yet, nothing is done about it”.
Mr. Saraki also said, he is in support of the call to sack the security chiefs as their best in ending the killings in the country is not good enough.
“As a matter of fact, I support the call by the Nigerians to sack the security chiefs. In spite of the money allocated for the course, nothing positive is achieved. So, the should be sacked since they are incapable of handling the situation”.
