He That Hath An Ear, Let Him Hear What The Spirit Saith Unto The Churches Rev.2:7a
History was made once again by the Akwa Ibom Stakeholders who hold sway on trust to our socio-economic fortunes, political destiny, spiritual uplift and traditional patrimony when on that fateful January 30, 2022, they divinely and consensually adopted Pastor Umo Eno, the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Lands and Water Resources, Akwa Ibom State as the preferred PDP gubernatorial aspirant and potential party candidate to contest, win and be declared duly elected Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State come 2023.
As fate would have it, the choice of Pst. Umo Eno, a thoroughbred gentleman, a reputable enterpreneur, an hospitality expert and above all, a servant of the Most High God, constitutionally coincides with the recently amended Electoral Act by our revered National Assembly which introduced and inserted the consensus clause into the document just appended into law some few days ago by President Mohammedu Buhari.
In the aftermath of this, given our critical scruitiny and down- to -earth analyses of the arrays of events that greeted the said adoption, AKWA IBOM UNITE FOR PASTOR UMO ENO (AKUPUE), AKWA IBOM STATE is therefore duty bound as a group of progressive minded and eggheaded persons to implore Akwa Ibom people to tremendously increase and sustain the tempo of overwhelming support, endorsements and wider acceptability of the chosen Messiah, Pst. Umo Eno. The group wishes to also charge our people to apply decorum, maturity, caution and civility in all their political sojourns and undertakings in the build up to the 2023 general elections.
However, we call on all our teeming aspirants vying for various political offices in the State that in their lawful and legitimate quest for power, they must be diligent enough not to unnecessarily heat up the polity but rather strive to judiciously actualize their ambitions within the ambit of the law. By so doing, they will not uncouthly plunge the already achieve serenity, safety and security currently enjoyed in the state into an avoidable crises, rancour, bickerings and discord.
Furthermore, aspirants and their supporters alike must dedicatedly and proactively embed into their nerves and veins the bold and candid letters of peace, forgiveness and reconciliation as it is only God that gives power, which at all times, He gives it to whom He chooses.
Moreso, they should now more than before, as encapsulated in the political curriculum of the completion agenda, consciously and magnanimously assimilate and/ or inject into their fabrics a political culture and mentality devoid of hatred, prejudice, vituperations, malice, falsehood and mindless sleaze but one that is characterized by brotherliness tolerance, social cohesion and harmony, true spirit of sportsmanship as well as respect to constituted authority.
In all truth, let us henceforth bear in our minds that Akwa Ibom is the only State we have and we must passionately and jealously guide, guard and protect it. Let us be weary and mindful of our ego, utterances, temperaments, actions and inactions.
In conclusion, may we now unanimously determine to give peace a chance and the symbol of that peace is Hon. (Pst) Umo Bassey Eno. Reality denotes and fate subscribes that he is the man for the top job. He stands for unity. He stands for prosperity. He stands for Service. He stands for growth and development.
Finally, the die is cast. The time has come. The hour is now for the people of good virtues to raise up their political fingers in favour of Pst. Umo Eno as the chosen vessel. Succession is sacrosanct and the journey to this new envisaged territory begins now. Join the cue and stop sitting on the fence for whom God has blessed, no man can curse.
Once again, congratulations in advance Hon (Pst) Umo Eno.
AKUPUE..ONE PEOPLE, ONE HERITAGE, ONE FUTURE!
AKUPUE..UMO ENO IS THE CORRECT ANSWER!!
AKUPUE..THE CAP FITS YOU, WEAR IT!!!
Signed.
