“Congratulations INI Ide Sunday on ur well deserved nomination as a supervisor in eket LGA. Truth b told u worked hard for PDP. For those who are saying u don’t come from eket.
Let me put the records straight. Idemudia Sunday Omoregie, Ide Sunday Omoregie and Ide Sunday are one and the same person, so I don’t know y all the fuse. I never chose my parent but God the all knowing brought me into this world though Mr Sunday Omoregie from Edo state and Madam Adiaha mark Akpadiaha Edoho, from atai ndon afaha eket, Eket LGA. For reasons I don’t know my mother brought me home. So eket is were I know as home and I’m a very proud Ekid man Short and sample. I have lived 90% of my life in eket, I have properties and businesses in eket my children were born in eket so eket is my home. I married INI and brought her to eket, so that makes her an Ekid woman.
NOW TO THE CRUX OF THE MATTER. I still relish in some of the sweet memories we shared during the twenty something years I’ve known u and considering my son’s feelings I won’t go into details of what happened despite the lies u have told against me. For those who have shaved my hair in my absence I say thank u. You got into a relationship with Supol Emmanuel Timothy of the Nigeria police, eket area command even though we were still married and living under the same roof. He got u pregnant and I learnt u’ve given birth to a bouncing baby boy. The said Emmanuel Timothy came to ur mother’s house at uyo to name the boy. I understand he named him Japheth Emmanuel Timothy. I’ve gone to this length to set the records straight because u’ve being going around telling those that care to listen that I’m trying to  from my responsibilities. Thank God for technology the child’s paternity can b confirmed. I am asking that a DNA b conducted if I’m confirmed to b the father let the world do with me anything they wish to. I know, u know and Emmanuel Timothy knows who the father is.
Tell ur Emmanuel Timothy that you will never succeed in trying to kill me or frame me up except God is not God. I want to thank God for everything. I want also use this medium to thank my friends and family for standing by the truth. Mention must also b made of the Pastor ate and members of RCCG,Chapel of light for ur prayers not forgetting my uncle Elder Edwin Omoregie. Thank u all. Pls don’t forget to continue praying for me. Thank u and God bless”.

Recalled that, on the the 7th day of June 2021, the executive chairman of Eket LGA, Hon. Akan Tommey, through the Secretary of the council approved the release of the Eket supervisors list.

Ms. Ini happened to make the list and since then, controversy and rumours have filled the air alleging that Ini Ide is not from Eket. Because of this, some youth of the area also protested at the council headquarters to stop her from being sworn in

  1. Quite an unfortunate and complex situation. The bottom line is that the original or former husband has consented to the appointment of the said Mrs. Ini Ide. Ipso facto, she’s qualified, either by reason of residency for more than twenty years in Eket as professed by the ex husband.
